The "Template Creator" plugin simplifies the process of creating project templates in just a few clicks, eliminating the tedious manual tasks of exporting projects, finding and modifying XML files, cleaning data, and configuring template parameters in additional files.

After installation the tool is available in administration menu of Polarion ALM on the project level and it automates next list of actions:

- Creates a complete zip-file ready to be uploaded as a project template; - Replaces existing project IDs and tracker prefix IDs with variables inside xml-files automatically; - Cleans existing data selected by user during template creation; - Creates “access.template” file based on current project access configuration; - Creates “template.properties” file generating the whole list of files to be processed automatically’ - Allows to reset Work Item IDs numbering; - Supports adding of Parameters for the template.
